Yeon ‘yellowduck’ Choi is a painter, writer, theatre maker, and traveler from South Korea. Her approach allows her to communicate and share experiences gathered over more than a decade of nomadic life. As a keen observer of everyday scenes, she collects and recreates moments that are essential to understanding her evolving identity. Currently based in Den Bosch, The Netherlands, Yeon’s artistic practice is influenced by her travels and the interplay between the familiar and the foreign, the transient and the enduring. She earned her MFA degree in theatre design in New York university, Tisch School of The Arts.
